We're Going to Nancy's on Friday!

Just a little change to our Summer Calendar:

This Friday, June 24, we visit Nancy instead of Eileen.
Be there at 10:00 for a fun time!

This photo below was taken last Fall...
Perhaps there'll be a change in this garden bed?

Flowers and Sunshine and Spring!

Oh, My!

Please note on your calendar that we're still meeting at Joan's on Saturday, May 21 to make stepping stones!

Our session at Eleanor's is being postponed. This is a busy time of year, isn't it?
She's going to reschedule, and let us know sometime soon,
when we might meet at her "neck of the woods" or
in the her "area of the country!"

:-)

I know you're watching things grow -
hopefully all the right things.
Enjoy your time outdoors!!

Garden Tour - Making Stepping Stones - postponed

Whether or not it's the weather...
and this time the concern IS the weather.
Did someone say Snow? (or at least rain and cold temps!)

We've made the decision to postpone our visit to Joan's house. Due to complications on other weekends, the Stepping Stones and tour will take place (again, weather permitting) on Saturday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m.

I've changed the activity list (see the trowel on the right sidebar).

All that is to say, our next time together will be Saturday, May 7 at Eleanor's house. There will be another post about this visit closer to the date. Check back here from time-to-time!

Garden Tour - Making Stepping Stones

(photo taken from DIY Network how-to)

HELLO GARDEN LADIES,

Hope to see you all this Saturday, April 16, at 10 a.m. or after to make a decorative stepping stone and have refreshments.

I will have the mortar mixture (concrete mixture, just add water).

I will also have some molds(plastic plant base, pie plates) and some decorative stones and some buttons. If you have some other types of molds or decorative items (like broken dish pieces, sea shells, small rock formations, etc.) bring them along.

I would recommend you bring a cardboard box or something to carry your stepping stone home, as it may not be thoroughly dry when you are ready to leave.

If there are any other ladies to invite, please do. I know I don’t have all their e-mails or names

Please let me know if you will be here. Hope to see you all.

Joan

Meeting Thursday at Behner's Funeral Home

We'll be looking at the Spring/Summer/Fall calendar.
I'm going to share about Hellebores, a plant that is gaining in popularity by leaps and bounds!

A reminder about Thursday's noon to 1:00 workshop at the Jefferson County Extension Office. Kim Keller will be presenting information on Butterfly Gardening. Bring your lunch, if you'd like. See the post below this one.

We have on our April schedule to visit Joan S on Saturday, the 16th, where we'll take our first garden "tour" and then make stepping stones. If Sandi is able to make it, she'd like to share some things she's learned and/or picked up at gardening events she's recently visited.

When our weather decides to warm, which may be very soon, we'll get our exercise outdoors! Please note the sidebar of the calendar posted above!

Hope you're able to make it this Thursday! We may have a special guest, as well. Diane R has decided to visit. She seemed to be interested in joining our little group. She's a very nice person - one with whom we'd enjoy meeting, also.
